First things first

Right. Ok. Lets do this.
This is my first ever blog, so I apologise in advance if my writing is appalling.
The main purpose of this blog is to document my travels for any friends or family who are actually interested in what I'm doing. I don't mean for that to sound like I'm having pity party because no one cares about my impending trip, I just know that some people (mainly my parents) may be interested in what is going on.
So, here is a quick summary of what happend to bring me up to this point in time - 6 days out from departure:

• I came back from exchange in Toronto having caught the travel bug and not 100% sure if I was happy at uni.
• I moved in with some cool kids in Auckland and decided to give uni "the old college try" once again.
• I swiftly became disenchanted with uni once again, Auckland begain to make me miserable, and all I could think about was travelling again.
• I made a plan; I paused uni, signed up with a great organisation called IEP (iep.org.nz), moved home (my parents where so supportive of this decision, I can't thank them enough) and back to my old job.
• A couple of months later I had the interview, landed a job at "The General Store", and was officially en route to Panorama Mountain Village, BC.

Great. So that brings you up to speed on everything. Now I'm just biding my time here at home until Dec 2nd when myself and 20 other excited Kiwi travellers take to the sky and undoubtably wreak havoc on our Vancouver bound flight.
